The University of Georgia Student Technology Fee funds the licenses for two citation managers: RefWorks and EndNote.
RefWorks is the simpler of the two systems, and offers plenty of functionality for most people's needs. RefWorks is web-based, so you can log into it from anywhere. Use it to store and organize your references. There is no limit to the number of references you can store in RefWorks. RefWorks also works with word-processors to create citations in your papers as well as the bibliography in the styles you need (APA, MLA, CBE, etc.).
- Read our RefWorks guide before you get started.
You may register for a RefWorks account at: http://www.refworks.com/refworks/.
EndNote offers advanced functionality, and must be downloaded to your machine.
