UGA athletic director and former head football coach Vince Dooley and his wife Barbara made a lead gift of $100,000 to the University of Georgia Libraries to establish the Dooley Library Endowment Fund. In addition, Coach Dooley was an active leader in a five year campaign that generated 2.3 million dollars for the enrichment of the Libraries. This fund has enabled the Libraries to purchase much needed computer equipment and electronic databases.
"I am proud that I'm in a position to make a gift that in some way will benefit what is the heart of learning at The University of Georgia.
