Ethical use of Library Collections as Data

 In celebration of International Love Data Week,  Research and Computational Data Management (RCDM) in the UGA Libraries, the University of Liverpool Libraries, and Ludwig Maximillian University Libraries and ITG (Munich, Germany) are hosting a special zoom event on the ethical considerations related to the use of (Library) collections as data. This event features lightning talks with experts from all three schools including Stephan Lücke and LMU’s VerbaAlpina,  the Finding their Names and American Congress Digital Archive Portal (Robert Lay and William Stanier, UGA), the RICHeS project and the Garstang collection (Joanne Fitton, University of Liverpool), and small and special collections of data in Open Data LMU: "Nacht" and "GeldKunsNetz" (Christian Riepl, LMU-ITG).
