The Owens Library is located at 285 S. Jackson St. within the Jackson Street Building of the UGA College of Environment and Design. The modernist building was designed by Joseph Amisano in 1962 and originally constructed to house the Lamar Dodd School of Art. The collection emphasis is on books and materials concerning landscape architecture, historic preservation, and environmental planning and design. Owens Library is on the entry level and is open to the public.
