Join us for our first ever Hargrett Happy Hour on Thursday, October 20th from 6:00-7:00 p.m. Fashion historian Sara Idacavage will take us on a "behind the seams" tour highlighting the performance costumes on display in the new exhibition "Georgia On My Mind: Finding Belonging in Music History" followed by light refreshments in the exhibition hall. This exhibit explores the origins of women’s athletics on the University of Georgia campus from their origins in the 1920s through the passage of Title IX in 1972. The display celebrates some of UGA’s most accomplished student-athletes and coaches who have helped to set a standard of excellence in women’s athletics.
