Join the UGA Libraries Makerspace in a Love and Laser workshop this Valentine season! Whether it's for your friends, your partner, or yourself, you can laser cut your choice of keychains or magnets with the help of our laser cutting enthusiast, Banibe Ebegbodi! This drop-in event is Wednesday, February 12th from 2PM-3PM at the UGA Libraries Makerspace, located in room 381 of the McBay Science Library. Hope to see you there! 

Join us for a special Valentine's Day-themed UGA Libraries Makerspace workshop led by Naman Kumar, a third-year Biological Engineering student. Celebrate Valentine's Day by creating custom text 3D printed hearts based on the classic Sweethearts candy. Perfect for all skill levels! No registration required, drop in Monday, February 10th between 3-4pm at the UGA Libraries Makerspace, room 381 McBay Science Library.

Join the Hargrett Library on Thursday, March 20th at 6:00pm for a talk with Sara Idacavage, curator of our newest exhibition From Farms to Fast Fashion: Unraveling the Need for Sustainable Style. Her presentation will detail the history of fashion production, as well as consumption, in the United States, dating back to the 1800s. 

This event is free and open to the public; a light reception will follow. 

Research Clinics are held at multiple library locations throughout the semester. This clinic is aimed at undergraduates who need research help on a paper/assignment.
