Curator Talk with Sara Idacavage
Join the Hargrett Library on Thursday, March 20th at 6:00pm for a talk with Sara Idacavage, curator of our newest exhibition From Farms to Fast Fashion: Unraveling the Need for Sustainable Style. Her presentation will detail the history of fashion production, as well as consumption, in the United States, dating back to the 1800s.
This event is free and open to the public; a light reception will follow.

Python for Data Visualization
Enhance your data visualization journey with our exciting Python for Data Visualization workshop! Join Ph.D. student and RCDM RA Larissa do Carmo Inacio for a hybrid (Zoom + in-person) session where you’ll explore libraries like Matplotlib, Seaborn, Numpy, and many more. Whether you’re just starting out or eager to sharpen your skills, this workshop is a wonderful opportunity to boost your ability to create eye-catching visual representations of data.
Pet Button Making workshop
Join us on March 18th from 11am-12pm in the McBay Science Library Makerspace (room 381) for a drop-in button making workshop led by an undergraduate peer! Print photos of your pets, or any of your furry friends during the workshop and use our button maker to make a pin! You can put your pin on your backpack, clothes, use it as decor, and more! This session will be run by makerspace student assistant, Lindsey Isenberg. We hope to see you there!
