Join Jason Hasty, UGA Athletics History Specialis, for a closer look at the new exhibit "Bulldog Olympians: A Celebration of UGA's Olympic History" at 3PM on Fridays before each home football game. Tours are free and open to the public, no reservation is required. Parking is available in the Hull Street Deck.

Join us for the 2024 Lillian Smith Book Awards Ceremony, which will be held on October 3rd, 2024, at 7 p.m. ET in the Decatur Library Auditorium. This free event includes remarks from both recipients and a Q&A followed by a book signing. The Lillian Smith Book Awards are sponsored by the Southern Regional Council, University of Georgia Libraries, DeKalb County Public Library/The Georgia Center for the Book, and Piedmont College. This event is free and open to the public, but registration is requested.

Curator's Talk: Athens Potluck
Join the Hargrett Library on Friday, September 20 at 3:00 p.m. for a talk with photographer Jason Thrasher, curator of the new exhibition Athens Potluck. His presentation will detail the story behind his 2017 book which inspired the exhibition, and his continued work with musicians in Athens, Georgia. This event is free and open to the public; a light reception will follow. Parking is available in the Hull Street Deck.
